Dawaipani is a tiny Himalayan village in the enthralling Darjeeling district of North Bengal. This village is located on the outer hill from Darjeeling's Tiger Hill.
Dawaipani means 'Medicated water' in the local language, and the name comes from the village's local river (Khola). This village is surrounded by several well-known tea estates, including Glenburn Tea Estate, Lamahatta Tea Estate, Takdah Tea Estate, and lush green pine trees.
This immaculate hamlet sits at an elevation of over 6000 feet. It is about 20 kilometres from Darjeeling town and is surrounded by Himalayan forests. From here, one can see the magnificent view of Kanchenjunga and Darjeeling town.
