Kalimpong
Kalimpong is a pristine West Bengal hill station known for its panoramic valley views, Buddhist monasteries and churches, and Tibetan handicrafts, among other things. It's a lively bazaar town nestled in the Himalayan foothills and deep valleys.
Kalimpong is a hill station on the slopes of the Shivalik ranges at an altitude of 1250 m overlooking the Teesta Valley, 50 minutes east of Darjeeling. According to people, the region was ruled by Bhutanese monarchs and served as a forward station for the Bhutanese Army until the nineteenth century.

Make sure to stop by the flower markets, which are known for their orchids and beautiful vibrant blooms.
Karmapa Trinley Thaye Dorje, the 17th Karmapa, lives in Kalimpong. Traditional handicrafts are also popular in Kalimpong. Although few tourists visit Kalimpong, there is enough to keep you entertained for a few days, and for the more energetic, there is some excellent trekking and river rafting on the Teesta.

Cactus Nursery
The state with the most commercial flower nurseries. Kalimpong nurseries specialise on the growth of unusual, attractive flowers that are then exported around the country. There are various nurseries throughout the city where you can spend some precious time. Pine View Nursery, known for its exotic cactus, is one of these nurseries.
Durpin Dara hill
Durpin Dara Hill, which features a golf course and the Zang Dhok Palri Monastery, has a panoramic view of Kalimpong, the snow-capped Himalayan mountains of West Sikkim, the Teesta river and its valleys. There is also a well-known botanical garden on the premises.
Morgan House
Morgan House is located on a sixteen-acre estate on the Durpindara Mountain's summit. It is located 3 km from Kalimpong and offers a panoramic view of the Kangchenjunga mountain. The mansion is surrounded by the Kalimpong cantonment area.
Deolo Hill
Deolo Hills, at an elevation of roughly 2000 metres, offer a spectacular panoramic view of Kalimpong. There are also designated view sites situated around the ridge margins for the best sunset and dawn views.
Jang Dog Palriffo Brang Gompa
Jang Dong Palriffo Brang Gompa, commonly known as Durpin Monastery, was consecrated by the Dalai Lama in 1976. The sacred Kunguyar serves as an important element of this monastery, and it serves as an example of Buddhist building style with magnificent murals on the walls.
Teesta River Rafting
Rafting at Kalimpong is best done on the Teesta River, which is surrounded by lush greenery. Rafting on the Teesta River typically begins at Melli Bridge and ends at Geilkhola in Kalimpong.
Thongsa Gompa

St.Theresa Catholic Church
It is designed in a Tibetan architectural style. While the church's walls are adorned with murals and Bible inscriptions, the doors contain carvings that resemble tashi tagye (the 8 auspicious symbols of the Himalayan Buddhism).
Neora Valley National Park
The Neora Valley National Park is located in West Bengal's Kalimpong district. It is one of the richest biological zones in eastern India, covering an area of 88 square kilometres. It takes its name from the Neora River, which runs through it.
Lepcha Museum
The Lepcha Museum is a project to preserve the Lepcha tribe's culture and values in the territories surrounding Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Sikkim, Nepal, and Bhutan. The museum contains artefacts and ordinary objects used by the Lepcha people, like articles of worship and so on.

Chicken Cutlet
