The Forest Museum, which is maintained by the state's forest department, contains exhibits of animal skins, bones, hides, and images of species that previously thrived in the Dow Hill region. Close to Deer Park, there are also wooden items on show. Those who are fascinated by nature will feel right at home here.
Deer Park, which is now known as Dow Hill Eco Park and is located in Dow Hill, is a recreational destination for families with children. It was originally known for its deer and other rare species of small birds and animals conservation efforts. It is now a very simple park.
Churches in Kurseong are among the most interesting attractions to visit in the city. Various heritage churches dating all the way back to the British Raj have existed here. St. Paul's church, St. Andrew's church, and St. Mary's Hill church are just a few of the churches you can visit.
There are three DHR museums in all, with the other two being in Darjeeling and Sukna. These museums include unique paintings, sketches, and miniature railway buildings on display, as well as regular toy train journeys to neighbouring locations with beautiful scenery.
It is just around 35 Km away from Siliguri. The hill station does not have its own train station, so you'll have to travel to Jalpaiguri to get off. The distance from Jalpaiguri is 61 kilometres. From the first week of March to the first week of May, and again from the first week of October to the last week of November, are the finest times to visit. There are two things that you should not miss for the world while you're here. The Muscatel organic tea is the first thing that comes to mind. This is a pretty uncommon beverage with the most genuine variety. The Thukpa Noodle Soup is the second item. Eagles Craig View Point, Makaibari Tea Estate, Dow Hill Park or Deer Park, and the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Museum are all must-sees.
