Tumsong Tea Estate, also known as the "Garden of Happy Hearts," is set in the bizarre environment of Darjeeling's Golden Valley. Tumsong was planted around a temple devoted to the Hindu deity Tamsa Devi, whom the original people of the Golden Valley worshipped, in 1867 at a height of 5,000 feet above sea level.
The garden faces the Himalayan range's gorgeous peaks, including Kanchenjunga, India's highest peak and the world's third highest peak at 28,169 feet. The tea estate is encircled by the beautiful Himalayan Mountains, and from here you can see Kanchenjunga.
